AI to "reinvigorate" Australian workforce, if employers act fast

AI has the potential to "reinvigorate the Australian workforce", but it could also increase employees' risk of psychosocial harm, a Parliamentary inquiry has heard.

The Inquiry into the Digital Transformation of Workplaces is examining the rapid development and uptake of automated decision making and machine learning techniques in the workplace, receiving 48 submissions since April.

One submission, from technology and professional services company Accenture, says AI has the potential to "reinvigorate the Australian workforce"...
