Rest and recovery time crucial after big projects

Even if, in theory, an organisation lets employees take it easy after a taxing project, it might be up to leaders to show their people what that looks like, a burnout expert says.

Employers that are embracing more flexible approaches to work at an individual and organisational level – and that realise reducing time on the job needn't equal less work – aren't necessarily taking a more flexible, output-focused approach to discrete projects, Savasana Collective director Sheena Schuy tells HR Daily.
