Using AI to make termination decisions isn't likely to remove any risks for employers, according to a lawyer.
"The fact that it's not a human who's made that decision, but effectively a machine, isn't going to create some sort of panacea," says King & Wood Mallesons' senior consultant Brett Feltham.
Rather than providing a solution to employers' challenges in ensuring fairness during dismissals, AI tools are "going to create some obvious concerns", Feltham tells a new HR Daily Premium webcast.
