Being clear on why an organisation wants to host an end-of-year event helps ensure HR plays more than a compliance role, an experienced consultant says.
When it comes to these events, "the traditional role that HR has played has been the 'people police'", Distinctive People founder Constance Aloe tells HR Daily.
"So it's been safeguarding the event so much you forget why you started doing the event," she says.
