Calls for workplace inclusion follow divisive speech

In the wake of Pauline Hanson's divisive comments this week, a DEI leader is calling for respect and inclusion, and a lawyer flags potential workplace relations implications.

The One Nation leader, during her 90-minute National Press Club appearance on Wednesday, said her party would "do its best to change this country's direction" and that her "policy to slash immigration reflects what most Australians want".

The comments have prompted Diversity Council Australia (DCA) CEO Catherine Hunter to call for respectful and inclusive leadership.

"DCA rejects the divisive comments made by Pauline Hanson... and calls for our nation's leaders to show respect, humanity and understanding," Hunter says in a statement...
