Around three in four workers support their organisation taking action to create a diverse and inclusive workplace, but only 59% describe their organisation as inclusive, according to new research.
Diversity Council of Australia's latest Inclusion@Work Index, involving some 3,000 workers, shows that in 2024-2025, 76% supported or strongly supported their organisation taking action, up slightly from 74% in 2023-24.
Only 5% of those surveyed opposed their organisation taking action, down from 7% in the previous year.
Some 62% of workers said their organisation is taking action on D&I (up from 56%, and a record high since the index was launched in 2017).
