Data can play a powerful role in employers' diversity and inclusion programs, but many organisations don't know what to collect, or how to use their insights, a D&I expert says.
According to Diversity Council Australia research from 2019, nearly half of D&I practitioners "rarely" or "never" use internal data to inform their work. More recently, an AHRI report shows that most organisations only focus on gender data, leaving key aspects of diversity unaccounted for.
