Employee engagement falls back to pre-COVID scores

Australian engagement scores remain "healthy", despite being lower than during the pandemic, new research shows.

Across Australia, 70% of employees are engaged. But in the top 10% of organisations, 84% of employees are engaged, the benchmarking figures show.

The overall score comprises five industry-standard questions, and in Australia, employees answered most positively when asked if they are proud to work for their organisation (84%), and whether they'd recommend their employer as a great place to work (80%)...
