EX "fundamentals" key as retention challenges rise

This year has seen a "big spike" in the proportion of employees intending to change jobs, and new levers are emerging as key retention drivers, an employee experience specialist says.

The latest Global Talent Monitor data from Gartner shows that in the June quarter, 26.5% of employees were actively seeking a new role – up 7.1 percentage points from March.

This is "a fairly significant quarter-on-quarter rise, which we don't often see", Gartner HR practice director analyst Neal Woolrich tells HR Daily.
