The Fair Work Commission has made regulated labour hire arrangement orders for a warehouse where direct and on-hire employees already receive the same pay, and it has rejected a single labour hire worker's 'same pay' claim.
The SDA sought the orders on behalf of on-hire workers, employed by Adecco and Chandler Macleod subsidiary Ready Workforce, at a Woolworths warehouse in Queensland.
No parties objected to the orders, but Woolworths told the Commission it understood the labour providers were already paying their workers at the rates in its enterprise agreement.
Adecco also submitted that the SDA hadn't provided any information indicating that the workers were not being paid at the agreement rates...
