FWC reveals how it will deal with RtD disputes

The Fair Work Commission will approach disputes over the upcoming right to disconnect in a similar way to anti-bullying claims, it says, including by issuing stop orders.

In a new implementation report, published this morning, the Commission sets out that initially, all right to disconnect stop order and dispute matters will be allocated to President Justice Adam Hatcher, who will then constitute a full bench to preside over early applications, so "authoritative guidance is available to the Commission's stakeholders and Members".

In the longer term, matters will be assigned to members in line with current allocation processes...
