A corruption investigation has found an HR advisor took "reprisal action" against employees who complained about bullying and other workplace issues.
In its report, the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption also said the State Government should consider obtaining legal advice about whether the HR advisor should be prosecuted for giving false evidence and wilfully obstructing the Commission in the exercise of its functions.
The Commission launched the investigation after its intelligence unit reported in September 2021 that "serious and systemic corrupt conduct" might have been occurring within School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW).
It looked into multiple allegations related to, among other things, mismanagement of conflicts of interest, a culture of intimidation and harassment, and "the purging of long-standing departmental employees" who queried workplace decisions...
