Nine in 10 employers expect to raise HR salaries this year, but demand for HR roles has fallen back to pre-COVID levels, new research shows.
Of the 90% of employers raising pay for HR, 51% plan an increase above 3%, according to the latest Hays salary guide, based on survey responses from more than 15,000 professionals, including 1,806 in HR.
However, 60% of HR employees say they expect a pay rise above this level.
Against this backdrop, 77% of HR professionals are either looking, or planning to look, for a new job in the next 12 months, the report states. Some 66% say the rising cost of living is one of the top reasons they're looking to leave their current role in pursuit of a higher salary...
