Minimum engagement requirements "a major issue" in part-time and WFH reviews

The Fair Work Commission has confirmed the list of issues it will consider in drafting a 'working from home' clause for modern awards, with the test case set to run well into 2025.

President Justice Adam Hatcher flagged the proposal in July when releasing the Commission's final report for its modern awards review 2023–24.

The proposal is to develop a WFH term in the Clerks Award specifically, which President Justice Hatcher noted "may serve as a model for incorporation in other modern awards, with or without adaptation".
