New pay rates, entitlements and law changes start today

Employers' obligations regarding wages, superannuation, paid parental leave and much more are changing today.

The National Minimum Wage and minimum award wages have increased by 3.75%, and the super guarantee rate has increased by 0.5% to 11.5%. Next year, the rate will increase by a further 0.5%.

Eligible working parents can receive an extra two weeks of paid parental leave (22 in total). The total will increase again by two weeks in 2025 and 2026...
