Productivity pressure driving down employee experience

The pressure employees are feeling to be more productive is directly impacting engagement drivers, major research shows.

Qualtrics tracks employee experience on five key measures: engagement; people's intention to stay; inclusion; wellbeing; and whether expectations are being met.

Its latest employee experience trends research, the sixth annual study, shows that engagement in Australia is "pretty stable", Qualtrics principal behavioural scientist Dr Cecelia Herbert tells HR Daily.

However, she adds, "productivity pressure is really high".

"We're seeing that 40% of Australians are saying that they're feeling pressure from their employers to increase productivity...
