It might take another 68 years to eliminate Australia's pay gap, and gender equality reporting is still "inconsistent and fragmented", new analysis shows.
Australia's gender pay gap won't be closed until at least 2054, and potentially not until 2094, according to a new report.
In the fifth edition of KPMG's She's Price(d)less report, released today, head of people and inclusion Dorothy Hisgrove says the gender pay gap "remains persistent and pervasive" and the pace of change is "unacceptable".
The main contributing factors, she says, are both the types of jobs women are employed in and the higher proportion of unpaid hours they spend on household and caring responsibilities...
