Three ways for HR to have the greatest impact on AI adoption

As employers start to scrutinise their AI investments more closely, HR teams can help to boost ROI in three key ways, a strategic workplace advisor says.

AI costs are driven by technology, processes and people, and in many cases the people category is being overlooked, according to Robin Boomer, senior director analyst in Gartner's HR practice.

But Gartner has compared organisations that are "AI front runners" with those that are "lagging where they want to be" despite their significant AI ambitions, and specifically examined what the most impactful C-suite engagement activities are when it comes to AI initiatives, he tells HR Daily.

Boomer says the biggest difference HR can make is to create an AI curriculum for senior leaders, "so that they truly know what is possible, how [AI tools] impact work, and how they would use them themselves"...
