Time to make uncomfortable conversations part of workplace "DNA"

There's an implied term in contracts of employment that people will have to participate in uncomfortable conversations, according to a conflict specialist who says these should be "part of an organisation's DNA".

In a new HR Daily Premium webcast on what's driving workplace conflict, The Zalt Group director Zandy Fell revisits a recent article on misuse of the term "psychological safety", noting that in today's workplaces, too many employees are shutting down uncomfortable conversations by saying they feel "unsafe".
