Wellness programs a "band-aid" without happiness lens

It's easy to dismiss happiness as a "fluffy" topic, but deploying wellness strategies without a happiness lens is akin to applying a band-aid, a specialist says.

"Sometimes you don't know how you're feeling unless you sit and do a checklist," coach and facilitator Heidi Horne tells HR Daily. She has launched a workplace happiness checklist that aims to help individuals gain a sense of how happy they are at work and, where there's considerable room for improvement, to help them "start that conversation".
