"Micro coaching moments" are among the ways progressive HR functions are combatting managers' fear of giving performance feedback, according to an experienced consultant.
This includes HR practitioners working "side-by-side with managers" to role play performance conversations and, for example, call out issues with managers' timing or tone, says Ombpoint advisor Holly Wilson.
