Some HR functions could shrink by up to 50% over the next four years as part of the "agentic revolution", while delivering significantly more value, according to a leading consulting firm.

The Josh Bersin Company report describes its 'HR 2030' blueprint as "the shift from administering the workforce to dynamically enabling the business", and says this requires "reimagination of every element of HR".
