Skills-based talent management is no longer a great idea in theory but an overwhelming challenge in practice, according to an HR tech specialist.
For many years, a skills-based approach to talent has proved an "elusive" goal, says Yvette Cameron, a globally recognised voice in the future-of-work space who leads Oracle's HCM product strategy.
A challenge, until now, was the fact that many organisations had multiple disconnected solutions in place, and no common skills language.
