Avoiding misconduct investigation and IMEs warranted sacking

It was fair to dismiss an employee who avoided workplace investigation meetings and refused his employer's requests for medical examinations, the Fair Work Commission has found.

FWC Deputy President Nicholas Lake ruled it was valid and fair to dismiss the employee for his repeated failure to follow his employer's lawful and reasonable directions.
