After closing its gender pay gap and boosting the proportion of women in industrial and tech-related roles, Blackmores Group is keen to move the dial further on "belonging", its CPO says.
At Blackmores Group, which has recently received Workplace Gender Equality Agency citation for the second year in a row, a key value is inclusion, and a key behaviour is inclusivity, chief people officer Kiran Hajos tells HR Daily.
The goal is to create an environment where every employee feels like they belong and want to stay, she says. Efforts to achieve this include a focus on inclusive and adaptive leadership; a "flex fit" philosophy, which pre-dated the pandemic but has since been "amplified"; a wellness program (reported here) that tackles emotional balance, social connection, and personal and professional growth; and "making sure we have focus on our pay parity at all times".
