There's often a "considerable" window during which stressed employees can get help and avoid burnout, but many experience warning signs without recognising them, a holistic health specialist warns.
How employees experience stress, and what their "window of tolerance" is, can be "completely different" due to any number of factors, according to Amber Thanas.
It's also critical to understand that people experience stress throughout their body, she tells HR Daily, however workplace discussions about mental health tend to be focused "entirely from the neck up" – they don't take into account nervous-system regulation.
