After reviewing the five skills most critical to leadership success in an organisation undergoing significant change, a chief people officer is now integrating these into "every single" HR process.
"Skills over job titles" is something Skillsoft CPO Ciara Harrington expects to see other HR teams "really zone in on" this year, she tells HR Daily.
"At some point, we all believe the world's going to flip from this traditional job architecture to a skill architecture, but it can't do it overnight," she says.
"We can't wait for this magic day... it's going to take the whole ecosystem a while to evolve. We just need to start taking steps and start people thinking about skills and in terms of skills."
At Skillsoft, Harrington says, her team's goal for the next year is to "integrate skills into every single process that we do in HR"...
