Vicarious trauma is the element of psychosocial risk management where employers have the most room to improve, according to an expert, and some new strategies are proving particularly effective.
More sophisticated organisations, which might not previously have considered themselves exposed to vicarious trauma, are increasingly recognising that among their employees are individuals and teams who face this risk, Centre for Corporate Health director of psychological services Rachel Clements tells HR Daily.
