A young white employee "imputed with conservative political beliefs" has had his general protections bid thrown out, after a court found his claim was largely a "crusade" against diversity and inclusion.
Federal Circuit Court Judge Salvatore Vasta said the employee's 173-page statement of claim appeared to be a "huge manifesto" designed to cause "maximum embarrassment" to his employer.
Taken together with the remedy he sought – more than $100 million in compensation and penalties – it was an abuse of process, the Judge said.
"Despite the [employee's] bravado and bluster, he is really only interested in revenge upon the [employer] and those he feels have wronged him"...
