Employees more reliant on imposed work boundaries than personal ones

When it comes to setting boundaries that allow people to disconnect from work, employees tend to think this responsibility lies with their employer, rather than themselves, research suggests.

Some 29% of employees say their employer is "most responsible", by way of policies and procedures, while 26% say the government, by way of laws, according to the Allianz survey, which canvassed the views of about 2,600 leaders and employees.

Only 22% of employees thought they were most responsible, by way of setting their own boundaries...
