Leaders who are clear on their core values and priorities can achieve "radical clarity" in decision-making, and a narrower focus improves their decisiveness, according to a high-performance specialist.
In his book Habits of High Performers, based on years of experience coaching leaders, athletes and entrepreneurs, James Laughlin says high performers are "radically clear" on their priorities.
They start each day with "full focus on the few things that are most important" – specifically the "critical few" rather than the "important many", he says.
