HR team building out purpose-aligned, "gold standard" health benefits

After giving all employees a paid "check-up" day each year, an employer that promotes early detection has now upped the ante with a partnership that provides screening, follow-ups and results on the same day.

At global medical technology company Hologic, employees are encouraged to schedule a day off to prioritise their health, says marketing director Aggie Cox.

"[We say], 'Take that day off. Go and do your bloods. Go and do your screening'.

"We're in the business of telling our customers that early detection is important; we need to make sure that we're also living it within the company and making sure that our people have the opportunity to look after themselves, and keep themselves healthy, so that they can look after their families," she tells HR Daily...
