Inside Canva's data-driven EVP overhaul

Design software company Canva has transformed how it articulates its value to current and prospective employees, after conducting an EVP overhaul with four key themes.

A key priority this year is building a sustainable high-performance culture, "so [we're] focusing on things like growth and development, really doubling down on our leadership, we're doing an incredible amount of work in diversity and inclusion... [and] elevating the recruitment lifecycle," Canva's head of people experience Charlotte Anderson tells HR Daily.

"[It's about], from the moment that you engage with us as a potential employer, how do we ensure that that experience ladders up to what you're going to get when you walk through the door? And that is whether that's through onboarding, whether that's through internal mobility and... every stage of people experience."

At the core of this is an EVP overhaul, which was based on data from Canva's people pulse surveys, with Anderson's team using AI to analyse the results and identify key themes...
