Summarily sacking an employee after he significantly over-reported work linked to bonus payments was fair, despite a flawed dismissal process, the Fair Work Commission has ruled.
While the termination process was "imperfect", according to Deputy President Theresa Dobson, "the essential core elements were adequately addressed when weighed in all the circumstances".
