Nudgetech helping HR to influence day-to-day behaviours at scale

The concept of 'nudging' isn't new, but most HR functions haven't yet embraced technology that can help influence day-to-day behaviour in ways that boost productivity and improve the employee experience.

AI-powered 'nudgetech' refers to tools that combine behavioural science with real-time data, to make simple suggestions designed to help people work more effectively, says Gartner HR Advisory director Neal Woolrich.

It has significant and scalable potential, but he estimates the percentage of organisations currently utilising the technology is small – most likely below 10%.
