Resigning during redeployment discussions was "premature"

An employee jumped the gun when he resigned before the conclusion of redeployment discussions, and his employer did not repudiate his contract, the Fair Work Commission has found.

Real estate company Jones Lang Lasalle raised a jurisdictional objection to the senior centre manager's general protections application, claiming that it had not dismissed him; rather he ended his employment at his own initiative.
