ROI on leadership programs requires in-built implementation

When leadership development programs fail, it's usually not due to the content, but rather because participants aren't forced to implement what they've learned, a coach and psychotherapist says.

The challenge is not only to teach people "the thing" but then to ensure they do the thing, says Next Evolution Performance CEO Vanessa Bennett.

"Leadership is a very different situation to what it was five and 10 years ago, so we need to do things differently," Bennett tells HR Daily.
