Regulated labour hire arrangement orders take effect from today, and the Fair Work Commission has now issued guidelines. But requests for more detail on how to calculate affected workers' new rates remain unaddressed.
The Closing Loopholes amendments to the Fair Work Act, which started in December last year, allow the Commission to make RLHA orders to ensure labour hire workers can receive the same protected rates of pay as provided for direct employees under the work site's enterprise agreement.
