Self-awareness boost directly linked to productivity and performance

Leaders who have undertaken mindset training, like the types traditionally used in elite sports, are reporting better wellbeing and performance, and gaining an extra four hours per week on average, research shows.

The research project, led by behavioural scientist and elite mind coach Dr Mike Conway, saw 20 senior leaders (including HR, marketing, and manufacturing roles) complete eight hours of mindset-related learning.

The companies involved were Nestle and ASM Global, and the four-month study used a mixed-methods evaluation framework, combining qualitative insights and quantitative performance tracking, from sentiment analysis, self-assessments and more than 80 interviews, he tells HR Daily.
