The NSW Supreme Court has sentenced Lauren Cranston to eight years in prison for her role in the Plutus Payroll tax scandal, finding she showed no contrition for her actions.

In March, a NSW Supreme Court jury convicted Cranston over her involvement in the $165 million tax fraud, concluding she had conspired to dishonestly cause a loss to the Commonwealth and to deal with proceeds of crime.

Cranston's older brother Adam Cranston, alongside Sydney lawyer Dev Menon, and Jason Onley, the managing director of a finance consultancy, were also found guilty for their respective roles...
