Why every investigation requires a trauma-informed approach

Opponents of trauma-informed investigations sometimes argue this approach weakens the process, but in fact the opposite is the case, according to a workplace culture specialist.

Earlier this year, the Administrative Review Tribunal found an employer's misconduct investigation ignored risks to a survivor of family and domestic violence (FDV), rendering it liable for the psychological injury she suffered as a result of the process.
