Workplaces warned of looming conflict "crescendo"

As the festive season fades, a conflict specialist warns that unaddressed workplace grievances will re-emerge unless leaders take action soon.

There are different "seasons" when it comes to workplace conflict, The Zalt Group director Zandy Fell has observed.

For example, she tells HR Daily, early spring can be particularly intense from a relational perspective if employees haven't taken annual leave or had a break for a while.

Then, heading into the festive season, there's often more pressure to meet deadlines before the year ends, but employees tend to be "more jolly" as the summer break approaches...
