Candidates who don't plan to stay with an organisation long-term can still be worth their weight in gold, according to a head of talent who is seeing people put corporate careers on hold to share their expertise.
When Movember's global head of talent Edan Haddock started investigating what attracted jobseekers to the organisation, he noticed they weren't necessarily wanting to develop their careers, or stick around for a long time.
Rather, there was a cohort of talented people who were happy to "pause" their career, and take some time to "do good".
"[We] spoke to quite a number of external talent when they were applying, and what we were finding was, people were even leaving corporate roles, leaving big business," Haddock tells HR Daily...
